What types of shampoo are there?
•solid
•foaming
•dry
•oil
🌿Have you ever wondered if all that lovely foam that covers your head when you shampoo is really a pure and purifying thing?
The foam keeps the dirt in suspension and prevents it from landing back on the skin, leaving it clean. When a shampoo creates a lot of foam it means that it contains a high concentration of Surfactants.
⏭️Cosmetics without SLS and SLES make skin and hair more toned, especially on subjects who have problems of fragility, delicacy and dryness. This happens because the absence of the aggressive degreasing action avoids further stress on skin already put to the test by a condition of discomfort.
🎯When washing your hair, how often should you apply shampoo?
🌿Normal hair: on average once or twice a week.
🌿Oily or dry hair: more frequently, depending on the condition of your hair.
🌿Thick or curly hair: once a week, as the sebum takes longer to cover the entire hair, starting from the roots.
DO NOT RINSE THE SHAMPOO WELL
This should be avoided, precisely because of the accumulation of some components contained in the shampoos we talked about previously, and which can make the hair dull and lifeless.
In recent years, a real trend in the field of hair products has been born: “Low poo” (also called “Low Shampoo” or “No Poo”).
Although this name makes you smile (“Poo” in English), the literal definition is “shampoo without shampoo”.
This mixture does not contain surfactants, or contains very few and, therefore, produces little foam, respecting the natural state of the hair.
The “Low Poo” trend
